Exploring Creation
How do you see the world around you? What goes through your mind when you gaze into the wide open sky? Maybe you see the same old, same old: a lot of blue, perhaps some fluffy clouds, and a bright yellow ball called the sun. Or, maybe you see a beautiful, new day that our Creator has given us; and that "yellow ball" feels like Him smiling down at you. :)
Now, what are some fun ways to enjoy these gorgeous surroundings He has made?

Picture Perfect -- by iLive4U
Head outside with a camera and take a few shots of plants, trees, birds, the sky, etc... Experiment with different angles for more interesting pictures. When you're done, you can use the pictures to make nature journals. Then write what you like most about each photo, how it inspires you, or anything else you want to jot down.
Colored In -- by iLive4U
Find something out in your yard that you really like. It could be a flower, the stunning sunset, or even a crooked tree that you find interesting to look at. Next, grab a blank sheet of paper, a pencil, and begin drawing it. When you're done, don't color it in just yet. First, find a cup, can, or anything round that measures about 2-4 inches across. (It doesn't have to be a circle, just as long as it's about that size and can easily be traced around.) Then, place it on any part of your drawing and carefully trace your pencil around it's edges. See the shape? This is your limit for color. You can color it any way you'd like, but make sure you only color inside this circle (or whatever shape you used). The rest can be colored in with your sketch pencil. Frame it, or post it on the fridge to show others this simple, yet interesting piece of art.
